Charles Barkley Shows us His Feminine Side…

It seems like Weight Watchers and Charles Barkley are both feeling a little adventurous lately. We first got to see a stunning new, slim downed and toned Jennifer Hudson in her new inspiring Weight Watcher ads. Then last month Sir Charles Barkley took a leap of faith and tried out his comedy skills and hosted Saturday Night Live and at the same time became a spokesman for Weight Watchers.

Not wanting to be out done by Jennifer Hudson we now have Charles Barkley in drag in his latest Weight Watcher ads. Yes,you heard that correctly the former bad boy of the NBA (and were not talking about Dennis Rodman, however we heard he could use the money) and Charles is not letting his 6’ft 6in frame get in the way. The Weight Watcher campaign is called ‘Lose Like a Man’. So move over Rupaul and take note the world has a new big girl in town.

Stephen Baldwin Change of Heart on Gay Marriage?

Actor and conservative Christian activist Stephen Baldwin appears to have shaken up his Etch-a-Sketch where marriage equality is concerned, telling Rosie O’Donnell that gay couples should “absolutely” have the right to legal unions.

On Friday’s edition of The Rosie Show, the host brought up Baldwin’s support for actor Kirk Cameron, who recently made antigay comments in an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan. She asked Baldwin if gay partners should be able to marry, and he replied “Yes — meaning, in their world.” O’Donnell said, “Well, not in your church. Just legally in a union.” Baldwin responded, “Absolutely.”

In a 2010 interview with London’s Oberver,, however, Baldwin was asked for his stance on legal recognition of same-sex partnerships and answered, “I don’t believe that any minority has the right to create changes that impact on the majority.” And last year he told a Wall Street Journal interviewer that gay people seeking marriage rights are “a very small minority” asking the majority of Americans to change their ways.

Business Review: Go Nuts About Yogurt

If your sweet tooth gets the best of you like mine does, then seeing a new business open like Go Nuts About Yogurt on Wilton Drive seems likes good bet. With its location at 2207 Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors it should generate interest.

Once you enter your instantly enticed by the “sweet toppings bars” that are the focal point and in front of the yogurt flavor assortment wall. The color of the walls and décor are soft and almost Willy Wonka meets Sesame Street, think fun and bright. There’s even a back “hang out” lounge that is suppose to get kind of festive later at night as bar hoppers stop in for treat.Nuts about yogurt

Next you’re most likely going to have to decide on a wide range of fruity to some curious flavors (pistachio to red velvet cake). Oh, and yes they have too many to list and something for everyone. I chose the red velvet cake which was suppose to be low in fat? Let’s just say after I loaded it down with several toppings I’m sure it wasn’t too healthy but isn’t that part of fun?

Finally after my visit I left curing my sweet tooth, at least for the moment. Would I go back? You might ask…most definitely. The service was good and helpful and it adds a nice change from the surrounding clubs and bars. So the next time you’re craving something sweet go ahead I say you only live once.
