Simply Delish is History and Angel’s Debuts

On the ever so changing and expanding night life and restaurant seen on the drive we have some updates.

As you may have read here recently Village Pub Wilton Manors is open and well worth a visit. Yes fun crowds, friendly bartenders and a great new space. We also have the Infinity Lounge  adding a new vibe and distinct feel that was a welcome addition to the drive. Infinity Lounge is the perfect place and size for a more intimate cocktail.

Just down from the Village Pub in the former Simply Delish space is now the new Angel’s. Well the exterior  of Angel’s has a new coat of paint that went from fuchsia to a copper orange. From the interior so far it appears to be still in transition with the right side being closed off and most likely being redone. The left side of Angel’s looks pretty much the same as Simply Delish did so far.

There was 3 of us looking for lunch and 1 that was strictly with a vegan diet. We looked over the menu which appeared to the pretty familiar breakfast and lunch choices. Our vegetarian in the group inquired about if there was a “veggie burger” that they did not have. The Angel’s waiter was very friendly and recommended one of their salads but also said they would be willing to try and accommodate and make any of their other dishes to his liking. We will give the waiter high marks for friendliness and his effort.

As far as a “full review” of Angel’s we will get back to you in the next several days and will eat there (minus or vegetarian patron). If any of you have ate at the new Angel’s drop us an email or message and give us your opinion (or any of the other dining and nightlife options on the Drive!).

Village Pub Wilton Manors Opens to Rave Reviews!!!

Have you been to the  opening of the new Village Pub Wilton Manors  yet to see how much fun it is and what an amazing job they did?

If you have not been our question is: What are you waiting for? You could start with one of the best and longest Happy Hours around. Yes folks their Happy Hour is  2-4-1 Drinks  and from 11am till 9pm Monday-Saturday…yes you read the correctly  2-4-1 Drinks 11am till 9pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday!!!

With it’s prime location on the Drive and a totally brand new club from top to bottom. Located at 2283 Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors (for those that maybe tourist) you can’t ask for a better location.

And with Halloween upon us what better place to celebrate than at Village Pub. With a costume contest @ 10:45pm  & prizes for 1st, 2cd and 3rd place on Wednesday, October 31st. So are you going to do the same old thing on Halloween or be at the place to be with friends at Village Pub Wilton Manors!

Look for the Village Pub Wilton Manors on Facebook.

Halloween Count Down: 36 Days!

Well the month of September is just about over and that only means Halloween will be here in a matter of no time.

Yes the fall season and the slightly cooling of the hot Florida weather will be a welcome change. Living in an area with so much to do for Halloween from Wicked Manors to South Beach or Fantasy Fest in Key West! Don’t forget about Orlando and Horror Nights or the notorious Belle Meade neighborhood party as well.

So have you decided yet what your going to wear and where your going to go? There will be no shortage of activities and really no bad choice, maybe just the headache of parking.  We will have upcoming features and try and map out all the festivities for you.

New Fun & Options on the Drive with Infinity Lounge and Village Pub (opening soon!)

Well it seems that fall is here and that means South Florida’s peek tourist season is not far behind. Yes as the temperature drops up north we get spoiled here and our blessed with sun & fun and have some new nightlife options!

You name it Wilton Drive will have it: places to dine, shop, people watch, workout and grab a drink from all types of bars. The newest bar of the drive is Infinity Lounge. This new lounge is cool, chic, quaint and captures a nitch that really was not on the drive before. With it’s cute and intimate size along with a slightly better dressed crowd (no offense to the other clubs) Infinity Lounge looks like it has met it’s goal.

And what looks like one of the bigger and more anticipated bar openings will be the upcoming Village Pub WM. There have been quite a bit of rumors in regards to exactly what type of bar it will be and the opening date—we will get back to you all on this once we can confirm this. One of our earlier blogs on our sister site (Wilton Drive On Line) rushed to print some material and have just  been told some of the information in the  blog was incorrect. Wilton Drive On Line will have a follow up article and correction on the August 31st blog soon.

No matter how you look at it Wilton Drive is alive and well. So get out and support the many businesses and clubs on the drive.
